Global firm secures gold for best use of thought leadership in complex sales, silver for sales training practice of the year; clients recognized in sales team, business development categories

The firm was awarded Gold for Best Use of Thought Leadership in Complex Sales and Silver for Sales Training Practice of the Year. In addition, RAIN Group’s client Covetrus won Bronze for Global Sales Team of the Year and BDO secured Bronze for Business Development Achievement of the Year.

Winning Gold for Best Use of Thought Leadership in Complex Sales, RAIN Group’s virtual selling campaign received great praise from the judges for helping sellers and sales leaders navigate the new sales environment at the onset of the pandemic. The RAIN Group Center for Sales Research surveyed 500+ buyers and sellers to better understand their experiences with virtual selling. In response to the survey results, the Inc. 5,000 firm launched the virtual selling campaign, comprised of several pieces of content, including a report, eBook, toolkit, checklist, infographics, blogs, articles, and more.

Honored with Silver for Sales Training Practice of the Year, RAIN Group was recognized for its new learning architecture, impressive clients results, exceptional average delivery score, and contributions to the sales training community, including research reports on virtual selling and sales negotiations.

With a sales force dispersed across the U.S., the firm’s client Covetrus®, a global animal-health technology and services company, won Bronze for Global Sales Team of the Year for the success it achieved with the help of RAIN Group’s virtual sales training program.

Winners were determined by the average scores of more than 150 professionals worldwide on eight specialized judging committees.
